Can I freeze the Crab Cakes?

We have plenty of customers that freeze what they can not consume immediately. They say it is best to defrost the products in the refrigerator prior to cooking. We have not tried freezing our products (other than the soup) so we can not guarantee this method.

Why can't I get a shipping quote online?

First check to ensure the address you input is correct. Depending on the destination, certain locations are required to be shipped Priority for overnight service. Orders to be delivered for Saturday delivery must be shipped with FedEx's priority service. Saturday delivery is not available to all zip codes. Ensure that the service agreement has been checked off.

How long in advance can I place my order?

Customers can place an order online as long as the delivery date is available in the drop down area of the shipping form.

What's the cut off time for placing my order so it goes out today?

If orders are received by 6pm they can go out the same day.

How do I cook them?

Cooking instructions should be included in the box. If you have misplaced them, please refer to the cooking link on this website to print out another set.

Can I ship outside of the USA?

At this time we do not offer shipping outside the U.S.

What is the shelf life of the crab cakes in the fridge?

Our products typically last about 2-3 days in the refrigerator after you receive them.

How do you ship your crab cakes?

We ship our products with FedEx for next day delivery only. We package our uncooked products with frozen gel packs to keep them fresh. The package will stay fresh for up to 40 hours

How can I track my order?

Check your email; our system should have emailed you a tracking number. You can track your shipment at www.fedex.com using that tracking number.

Are your products cooked when they arrive?

The only product that will arrive cooked is the MD Crab Soup (you have to heat the soup before consuming it). All other products need to be cooked before consumption.

Can I call in an order?

Unfortunately we can not accept a credit card over the phone. Please follow the link to our online order form if you wish to place an order. You may also fax in an order. Call 1-877-554-3723 and have an order form faxed to you.

Can I Include a note with my package?

Sure! There is an area in the order form that will allow you to type a short note to the recipient.

What days do you ship?

We can ship Monday through Friday for next day delivery (excluding national holidays). Saturday delivery incurs an additional charge; however FedEx does not deliver to all zip codes on Saturday. Use our order form to configure your order and get a shipping quote!

Can I just pick them up since I'm in the area?

Of course! Just give our carry-out a call 30 minutes before you are ready to pick up the box and we will have it ready for you. You can also place the order here while you wait.

What if my package doesn't arrive when it was promised?

Give us a call within 24 hours of the promised delivery date, we will be more than happy to review your order. Call FedEx at 1-800-463-3339 and discuss the tracking number you have.

How much is the shipping cost?

You can use our online order form to get a shipping quote. Just go through the steps as if you were going to place an order and before the billing page your quote will be generated.

What is a CVV number?

This is a verification number that is located on the back of the credit card in the signature strip (Visa/MC/Discover) or on the front (Amex) above the last 4 digits of the account number. I have a tracking number but I cannot track my package. Give us a call and we'll help you track your package if any technical difficulties arise.

Do your boxes go through airport security?

Unfortunatly not. The frozen gel packs that we use are not acceptable to be carried on by TSA. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Is your website secure?

Yes. Our website security is provided by Thawte a subsidiary of VeriSign a 256 MB encryption.

Can I use a virtual gift card in your store?

Virtual gift cards can only be used online. Restaurant gift cards can only be used in person in our store. We appologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
